How good you are at criticism? Criticism may break or make an artist’s work into a success or drain the view out of them.
Criticism or feedback is not a welcome for most of the designers or be it for any artists. It will either make them take it and develop or just leave it not be bothered or some even may refrain from continuing what they are best at.
Likewise, a designer takes criticism or feedback on the work it will only generate him to do better job than “Whatever” attitude. For instance, the gender of the designer can play major roles as female designers are nervous when it comes to negative feedbacks as they are more bothered about delivering quality and at right time. This is not so when it comes to male designers who are least bothered about the feedbacks.
A designer can receive negative and positive feedbacks. The positive ones truly make them to be more inspirational and make them love the job they do. This is not so in the case of the negative reviews, it can be either is too harsh or mild, but the designers have to deal with it. There are at times when the designer would have given his best shot and the client may not like. There is frustration on the designer’s point of view to make it better and at this time you really go out of ideas or innovations for the apt design. A talented ecommerce designer whose work is to deliver the client the right designs for online business site. The designs are great illustrations of what they can do or rather say the magic of their creative minds.
This creativity can go from elegant to modern to hip designs by the graphic designers. The designers keep in mind the requirements of the client who wants it their way. So, overall presentation by the designer should be CLASSIC. That’s the tagline every web designer is prone.
Now back to feedbacks, the initial part is over (designing) then reviewing is the final part for the web designers. The designers may take in the reviews and when worked upon further sure of positive result.
For instance, there are many crowdsourcing sites that are involved in competitions for logo designing, corporate brand identity kit, etc. These sites look for the best and if your design is not to their expectations they will reject it. This is one way of harsh feedback. It can both be taken positively and further worked upon or the designer may seem less interested to further work on it.
