The marketing mix provides for a slot in branding and communication of products and services. I would like to start with my simple understanding about Branding. It is nothing but differentiation, of what you are and how different is your service than that of your competitor. I was once asked to Brand myself as a person in a management class; believe it turned out as an exercise which was more of a self discovery of me. Indeed, I would agree a well researched branding exercise for your product or service is one which will help you understand the core foundations of the business itself.
Websites can be used as great branding tools for your business and this blog shares some quick tips to effectively brand your website. Before that the answer to some simple questions goes a long way in following these steps:
- Mission of your Company, Vision and Goals
- Description of your company’s products and services
- Company’s perception from your clients and other stakeholders
- A good understanding of your qualities that need to associated with your company
First is a creative logo which is easy on the eyes and simple to associate. Logos catch the eye first than the word that you put up on the website, so effective branding calls for one that symbolizes your business as to its nature.
Then comes the website and its construction, it makes no sense to make one with no co ordination with your logo and the content. The essence of effective branding lies in a perfect coordination of the different elements of your website.
The very important aspect of your website is your branding message through effective content. One that delivers a brand promise and one that attracts your target audience. The content setting needs to address your core values and what you hold true to sustain development and growth.
All these account for a good branding mix and bring in more effective business enquiries through your website.
